Recap: The 2010 Florida Marlins didn’t give Manager Fredi Gonzalez much of a leash when it came to wins and losses. On the 23rd of June, Fredi was fired and replaced with Edwin Rodriguez. The team has responded, at least some of the team has. Pitcher Jose Veras, who recently pitched a scoreless seventh inning, has not allowed a run in 12 innings since recalled from Class AAA New Orleans. But there is other buzz revolving around a Marlins Pitcher, which is RHP Josh Johnson. "He's the best pitcher in the league. He's on another level, that's all there is to it. Best pitcher I've ever seen, played with or against. Period."
