RECAP: All moves the team made for the 2010/11 season were made last season with the acquisition of SG Kevin Martin and this off season decided to match any and all offers for Luis Scola and Kyle Lowery and in doing so have soared over the NBA Luxury Tax. In the draft, the Rockets did select Kentucky PF Patrick Patterson (14th overall selection) and the team also signed C Brad Miller during the off-season.

The team has 15 players signed to contracts and all the players who donned Rockets Red last season, so the team will have a very strong bench. Finding the starting rotation…that’s another story. So be sure to come out and support your Houston Rockets. Yao Ming should be able to play a good amount of minutes and new Head Coach Rick Adleman looks to have him at full strength in the upcoming preseason.
