Get Your Tickets fast! The long awaited return of Musical Rebels The Black Crowes is over. On March 4, 2008 The Crowes released the now critically-acclaimed Album Warpaint which landed in at # 5 on the Billboard Charts. On April 28, 2009, the Crowes released a two-disc live CD entitled Warpaint Live.
The Black Crowes began in 1984 as Mr. Crowes Garden and featured brothers Chris and Rich Robinson. In 1990 they released their first Studio album, “Shake Your Money Maker” which went multi-platinum. Between 1990 and 1995 the Crowes reached new heights of stardom.
In 2002, the band went on hiatus and did not get back together again until early 2005 when brothers Chris and Rich brought back Eddie Harsch, Marc Ford, Sven Pipien and recruited Bill Bobrow. The band would part again ways with Harsch and Marc Ford. They were replaced by Paul Stacey and Rob Clores in the fall of 2006. The brothers released a live album entitled Live at the Roxy in 2007 and 8 months later released the single “Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution” as a single to Warpaint.
In a recent interview in a Dutch Newspaper (May 6, 2009) Robinson revealed that the new Black Crowes Double Album “Before The Frost, Until The Freeze” will be released in September 2009.
The Crowes are currently on a tour that featured 5 sold out show in Woodstock, New York and that will take them all over Europe and North America
