The Heavy Metal Legends are back on tour after a brief hiatus from their 2008/09 Tour for their latest studio release “Nostradamus.” The band hit the road for a number of shows in commemoration of their 1980 studio release of “British Steel.
The band, its core members (Halford, Downing and Hill) have been together since 1969 and as a whole the band were a part of the first inductees of the inaugural VH1 Rock Honors along with Kiss, Queen and Def Leppard.
Priest fans have long loved the fact that Priest have been what many consider the foundation of pure heavy metal with their heavily structured material that infused Halfords dynamic voice to become the most influential Metal band next to Black Sabbath.
