“Day & Age”
The third studio album from the Alt-Rock band The Killers was released November 25th. Day & Age and launched to No. 1 on the UK and Ireland charts as well as No. 6 on the US charts. The album features guest artists Elton John and Neil Tennant (of the Pet Shop Boys).
The breakout album for the band came in 2004 with their debut album “Hot Fuss. Their second release, “Sam’s Town” (released Oct. 2006) brought more success, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard charts and reaching sales of over a million copies by Jan 2007. “Sawdust” the bands compilation of B sides and some new material sported the song Tranquilize (an effort with Lou Reed) the Kenny Rogers anthem “Ruby , Don’t Take Your Love To Town” and “Romero and Juliet,” a cover of the Dire Straits tune.
The new tour will cover both Europe and America and will wrap up September 28 so be sure to get your Killers tickets as soon as they go on sale!
