Rascal Flatts recently announced their Summer “American Living Unstoppable Tour” will kick off on June 5th 2009 in St. Louis. The bands 7th Studio album, “Unstoppable” was released April 7, 2009 and within a week sold over 351,000 albums and the record became the biggest country release of 2009.
Rascal Flatts were founded by second cousins Gary LeVox and Jay DeMarcus and in early 2000 the group debuted in early 2000. “Praying for Daylight” was released as a single and rose to #3 on the Billboard Country Charts. In 2002, the band released “Melt” which produced 4 top 5 hits.
In 2004, “Feels Like Today was released and this album produced 3 top 10 hits and 2005’s “What Hurts the Most” was the first single off the “Me and My Gang” album which was released in 2006. After extensive touring, Flatts released “Still Feels Good” which produced 2 top 5 singles. Their Greatest Hits Volume 1 compilation was released in October 2008.
“Unstoppable” was released April 2009 with a special release through JC Penny with the song “American Living” which is not available on the original release and only through JC Penny.
