2011 Season Outlook: The Colts will likely get off to a slow start with QB Peyton Manning sidelined for the foreseeable future due to a new surgery. The team has other "Pro Bowl" weapons but Peyton is what made them (and the team click). QB Kerry Collins has signed on to step in until Peyton can return but, in all reality, Peyton shouldn't risk it and retire before he is hurt permanently.
Recap: After racking up a 14-2 record and wrapping up the AFC South last season, the Indianapolis Colts will look to increase their record for winning 12 or more games in a season and win the AFC South for the 7th time in 8 seasons. The addition of OT Adam Terry and G Andy Alleman were moves to plug some existing holes on the team. In the draft, the Colts the Colts used their first round pick (31st overall) to select Jerry Hughes, a DE out of TCU. With their second pick, they selected Iowa ILB Pat Angerer. Overall the franchise selected six defensive picks and two offensive selections.
