2011 Season Outlook: The Eagles are stocked with talent but, as we all witnessed with the NBA Miami Heat, that doesn't always equate to championships. With multiple pro-bowlers on the team the franchise feels like they are the team to beat but, it takes a whole team and not individual talent to win the Super Bowl.
Recap: After failing to beat the Dallas Cowboys twice in two weeks and failing to make the playoffs, the Eagles front office sent QB Donovan McNabb packing. In a trade with the Washington Redskins, the Eagles received a 2nd round 2010 pick and a conditional 3rd or 4th round pick in 2011. Other trades included WR Reggie Brown to the Buccaneers in exchange for a 6th round pick in the 2011 draft and DE Chris Clemons and a 2010 4th round pick to Seattle in exchange for DE Darryl Tapp and CB Sheldon Brown along with LB Chris Gocong were traded to the Browns in exchange for a 2010 4th and 5th round pick and LB Alex Hall. The Eagles used their first round selection on Michigan DE Brandon Graham (13th overall selection) and their 2nd round pick on S. Florida S Nate Allen.
