Grease is the Word! The newest version of the popular 1972 musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey is back on the road for a number of performances across the United States on a 13-city tour.
The original production began in 1971 and was staged under the name Grease Lightning and by 1972 was on Broadway and was directed by Tom Moore and choreographed by Patricia Birch.
The current show will run through November 2009 so be sure to get your Grease Tickets.

Grease Sandy and Danny are coming back to Broadway in this beloved musical revival! Grease is gearing up for a Broadway return following a nationally broadcast talent contest to find the next Sandy and Danny!
Billy Bush and Denise van Outen host Grease: You're the One That I Want! on NBC from January 7 through March 11, 2007. After spending a hopelessly devoted summer with new girl in town, Sandy Dumbrowski, Danny Zuko's world is thrown upside down when Sandy appears at Rydell High on the first day of school. What follows is a rock 'n' roll celebration of growin' up, cruisin' with friends and goin' steady while Danny and The T-Birds spar with The Pink Ladies who take "good girl" Sandy under their wing.
In addition to the smash songs "Summer Nights," "Greased Lighting" and "We Go Together" made famous by the Broadway production, the new revival will include "You're the One That I Want," "Hopelessly Devoted to You" and "Sandy" from the 1978 film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John as the lovelorn teens.
