RECAP:  Since 2008, the Sixers have been trying to find the right leadership. The team has gone through 3 head coaches since 2005 ending with the dismissal of Eddie Jordan. Enter former NBA color analyst Doug Collins who last coached the Washington Wizards in the 2002/03 season.

Arriving to the team are F Andres Nocioni, C Spencer Hawes and C Tony Battie. C Samuel Dalembert was traded to the Sacramento Kings for Hawes and Nocioni.
