SEASON RECORD: 44-50 (0.468) as of July 18th
STATUS: 7.5 game(s) back, 2nd in the American League Central

Recap: The Minnesota Twins are sporting new uniforms in 2010 both road and home suits. The biggest change for the home jersey is the removal of the nameplate that had been in use since 1980. For the road jerseys, the franchise discarded the navy pinstripes in exchange for a gray uniform with the word "Minnesota" scripted on the front in navy with red and white trim. The team also wore a 1961 throwback uniform on opening day as part of the team's 50th season.

The Twins are hoping to make a run for the AL Central title but have been fighting injuries throughout the season. Recently, 1B Justin Morneau was placed on the 15-day DL, INF Matt Tolbert went on the DL as well with a bruised right middle finger. INF Alexi Casilla had arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow and RHP Joe Nathan underwent Tommy John surgery in March and isn't expected back until Opening Day 2011.

The team's current pitching rotation and bullpen:
RHP Blaine Boyer
LHP Brian Duensing
RHP Casey Fien
RHP Kyle Gibson
RHP J.R. Graham
RHP Phil Hughes
RHP Trevor May
RHP Alex Meyer
LHP Tommy Milone

Be sure to get out and support your Minnesota Twins as they attempt to take the AL Central Title and run all the way to Fall Classic.
