2011 Season Outlook: Carolina has one of the toughest schedules this season, a new head coach and a lingering question mark at the QB position. With all that, it is easy to see that this will be a very challenging year for the Panthers. If the team can limit the number of sacks on rookie QB Cam Newton, and the running game returns, the franchise just may be able to win four to six games this season.
Recap: This will be Head Coach John Fox's 9th season as the head man at Carolina and he will attempt to lead his team past the 8-8 mark set last season. Gone are WR Mushin Muhammad, QB Jake Delhomme, QB AJ Feely, DE Julius Peppers and QB Josh McCown.
There will be many spots to fill and the franchise did draft some assistance. Joining the team are Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen, LSU WR Brandon LeFell and Mississippi DE Greg Hardy. Who will take the starting QB position? Is Jimmy Clausen ready to take over or will Hunter Cantwell prove that he is indeed ready to take NFL snaps.
