Recap: Coming into the season, Head Coach Gary Kubiak’s third, the franchise looked to change up management and hired Alex Gibbs to replace Assistant Head Coach Mike Sherman and Kyle Shanahan takes the reins as the Offensive Coordinator. In the franchises short 7 seasons, the team has racked up a 40-72 record (.357) and the last two seasons the team has broken even. The ownership is betting that keeping the majority of staff/players intact can only help to build the team up. And while Coach Kubiak is in the 4th year of a 5 year deal, he has little time to persuade management that a .357 winning percentage is worth his (+/-) $10-million contract.
